A longtime singer, Ashlie Amber is no stranger to the grit it takes to make it as a performer. She worked for years before finding her way as a cruise line performer. Her strong voice, drive and glamorous persona make her a perfect candidate to become the next Country Music Beyonce. At the age of six, Ashlie began her musical journey singing for fun which unfortunately changed with the tragic loss of her father not too far after. Where grief and heartache set in, music and singing were her true outlets and pathways back to a better place but along the way she discovered that singing was not just an outlet for her staying strong and to let go of her grief, but also her life calling and true passion.

My Kind of Country is a fresh take on a competition series, breaking down barriers in country music by providing an extraordinary opportunity to diverse and innovative artists from around the world. Scouts Allen, Guyton and Peck each hand-pick a roster of exceptional up-and-coming artists and invite them to the home of country music in Nashville, Tennessee, to showcase their unique sound.
